The Academic Office is working in a participating way on the elaboration of a pedagogic package containing methodologies and didactic materials for each workshop, appropriate for the process of integral training of disabled youths, and with technical assistance of the "Departamento de Rehabilitación Profesional del Instituto Nacional Tecnológico" (INATEC).

Since the middle of the year 2005, the association owns the trademark “Los Pipitos”, which was granted by the "Ministerio de Fomento, Industria y Comercio" (MIFIC) of Nicaragua , enclosing 19 groups of products and services.

Therefore, the "Centro Juvenil", as well as all branches and projects of "Los Pipitos", is authorized to distribute their products and services protected by the trademark, which is an important achievement in the implementation of the center's commercialization strategy.

The center's carpentry workshop obtained the certification in accordance with the rules of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) in 2005, incorporating itself into the group-certification of the chain of custody, whose representative is the Nicaraguan company Exchange S.A. / Simplemente Madera.

The FSC logo identifies products which contain wood from well managed forests certified in accordance with the rules of the Forest Stewardship Council.

With this certification, the Centro Juvenil, with the assigned code SW-COC-1117-F, is an example in the protection of the environment and the rational use of natural resources.

The "Centro Juvenil" regularly participates in events and fairs. Among others, in the most important fair of the national wood and furniture sector, the "EXPOVENTA NICAMUEBLE" in Managua with international participation. Products elaborated by the youths are successfully presented and sold, like aromatic candles, crafts and postcards, furniture, toys and wooden didactic materials.
